Barney's Holiday Window Display - "Have a Foodie Holiday" featuring "Miss Illy"

Barney's Madison Avenue Holiday windows take on a "Have A Happy Foodie Holiday" theme this year, in partnership with the Food Network. The legendary holiday window displays are inspired by the extraordinary popularity of foodie culture and personalities. Barneys’ Creative Director Simon Doonan captured this phenomenon in pop culture with windows he called: “The Bad Boys,” “The Gals,” “Revolutionary Stew” and “Miss Illy” (pictured above). "Miss Illy" features a voluminous modern diva bursting out of her coffee tin dress. According to fashionwindows.net, Miss Illy is made of 300 three-kilo illy tins, 250 foil bags (former home to illy’s single-serve iperEspresso capsules) and 250 8.8-oz. illy cans. She wears an espresso machine headpiece (ahem, illy’s Francis Francis X1 iperEspresso machine), a coffee scoop-turned earring and a garland fashioned from 300 paper cups.
