"John Baldessari: Pure Beauty" Exhibit At The Metropolitan Museum Of Art

John Baldessari, a widely renowned pioneer of conceptual art is having a major exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It is a survey of his work, from his early paintings and phototext works, combined photographs, and the irregularly shaped and over-painted works of the 1990s. Two of his most recent works are on display at the lobby pictured above. The exhibit is at the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Exhibition Hall, 2nd Floor. It runs through January 9, 2011.
